Hello.... .327 federal...?

6 rounds in the sp101 vs. 5 rounds for .357mag. I think price did it in and not enough support from other firearms manufacturers.
Yea. Bummer. The capacity was the only real advantage i guess, but it seems like that could have been enough.

I wouldve rocked a J frame in .327 all day...

Smith & Wesson chambered at least two revolvers in .327 Federal; the 632 and the 622.

Ruger did the SP101 and the LCR in .327 Federal.

Charter Arms did a 6-shot and a 7-shot revolver in .327 Federal.

Taurus did the Model 327; 6-shot, stainless steel, 2” barrel, and offered it with a standard DA/SA hammer and with a DAO bobbed hammer.

They could have had a .32cal resurgence if Ruger built lever, bolt or even a scaled up 10/22 in that caliber.

An appropriately scaled lever or pump action would be pretty cool, especially if they would feed the lower powered .32’s like S&W Long and .32 H&R Magnum.
