Joined in 2015 but made first post today, figured better say hello. Been avid firearms buff since age 10, got first handgun and centerfire rifle at age 12, started reloading same year and by time graduated high school was building 1911's and doing revolver repair. Own several business, spent most of my life doing high altitude mountaineering and shooting. Am prolific builder of AR 15's, AR 10's, 1911's, 10/22's and FN FAL/L1a1's along with general gunsmithing. Mostly only for myself but do work part time on as need basis in a local gun shop for food and ammo. Since AR uppers are not firearms, anyone that stops by my business with upper only usually will stop and fix for free as have machine shop at my disposal, lots of specialty AR tools and don't mind troubleshooting any non FFL parts as service to the community. Will try to stop in more often than every couple of years.
