At our store we store the locking socket with the jack and tools. Take a look there. We used to put them in the glove box but no one looks there when they have a flat. They need the jack just as bad. lol. Take a look there if its not any tire store should be able to remove it for you. Most may ask you to show ownership first though, so take your paperwork.

I’ve actually borrowed one of those sets right now, but I’m either not driving a small enough or it doesn’t work well on a nut without any corners.

weld a regular nut on top of it, let it cool, and impact that teddy bear right off

As usual a bigger hammer was the answer
