Help pricing a Remington Model 11 12 ga riot gun

As I keep thinking about it, the engraving on the receiver and the cut checkering on the stocks could have been done later. In any case, those two things will certainly detract from "collector value."
The pheasant engraving looks pretty clean and sharp. Much sharper than the other stuff on the gun, IMO.
 
I would email remington the serial number. They will give you a production date.
I dont see it being a collector but I would give them $350 to go with my other model 11s that I use just like I bought them from a gun shop. I inherited both of mine but would love a short barrel for home duty.
 
Some of the early did have the factory engraving if I'm not mistaken. It think it should have the inspection stamps on the stock though, and not sure if the stock would have checkering.
Stock should not be checkered. Military issued will have inspector's mark if not sanded off.
