Does anyone know a place/member that works on Polaris jetskis?

I purchased a 2004 Polaris jetski to help a buddy out. It has been sitting for a couple years and would like to get running for my son. It currently does run but runs/idles rough out of water. I'm assuming injectors clogged or other components/sensors, etc. And honestly, I don't know much at all about the Polaris jetski.

It is a 2004 Polaris MSX150 Turbo, 4-stroke with only 64 hours on it.

Thank you

Polaris no longer makes jet skis, nor stocks/makes parts for them

I have owned several 4 stroke jet skis of various mfg

Here's what I do when mine ran rough after sitting for a season or two

Pump out the gas tank and fill with high octane NO Ethanol fuel

Change fuel filter

Change spark plugs

Those 3 things usually do the trick

Hope that helps

Thank you, yes this does help.....I knew that Polaris discontinued mfg their jet skis and have read horror stories on the web. I did pump out the old gas and put in new but didn't change the plugs.....will try this. I read that these Polaris' were bad about if someone added too much oil that it would clog/kill some sensors....this maybe what happen here and was hoping that an X-Polaris jet ski tech would know.

Thanks again,

Yea too much oil is not good as well. There's a special warm up process you have to do when checking most 4 stroke oil. Don't fill the reservoir full to the top

But the best thing you can do is either get a service manual,or sell it and buy a Yamaha 4stroke lol

seafoam it. put it in the tank, the crankcase and intake
rough idle could be fuel related or sticking valves...etc
who knows when you got corn on the cob gas in
everything
