Just recently acquired this pistol, I was wondering if anyone has information on it, and if anyone has .32 French Longue ammo they would sell. Also I wouldn’t mind knowing a value to know if I got a good deal

It does have the WaA 251 mark, though it’s hard to see

I just don’t know much about these pistols and want to know more

C series in serial number range puts it at about 1943
and good luck finding ammo theres only 1 manufacturer im aware of that makes 32 french longue and its been out of stock since 2019 on top of that if you manage to find any original ammo they are all basically duds with bad primers

Yeah I saw Steinel had some, but obviously it’s out of stock, do you know a value of it?

You have a German occupation piece. Estimated production for the Wehrmacht is about 23850 and for the E/WaA251 variation is 23300. The German designation for it was 7.65mm Pistole 625f. The black paint on it is actually the original finish so do not remove. I have one as well with s/n C3620 so alittle earlier than yours but yours is definitely in better condition! Great find! A lot of people don’t know about these so you probably found it pretty cheap! It’s definitely one of the less known occupation guns.

I long for one of these (pun intended). I had the opportunity to buy 2 when I lived in MS in 1999. A small ratty pawnshop had 2 in the case. Orange Grove area of Gulfport. Guy wanted 85 bucks a piece for them. No ammo remotely available, I also didn't reload at the time. They were in decent shape for being painted black. I passed like a fool.

I bought a 4 inch Model 16 Smith and Wesson for $250 instead. Traded that one away for a beat up .22 S&W revolver like an absolute idiot. Never even fired it.
