Youre just full of good news today. How often does HC get in the news. Everyday or 3xs a week I feel a bit embarrassed especially after spending the first quarter this year in grand jury duty. Is there any hope it's gonna get better.

Elton is a scumbag. But unfortunately, he is the future of Henry County Politics.

How was he involved in the airport deal?

The worst part of that story is the embarrassment he caused his wife. But she truly prevailed, moving forward with a successful competitive shooting career and then marrying Matt Duff!

If we just ignore it nothing good will become of it. I'm attending the meeting at the county administration building, 140 Henry Pkwy., McDonough.

They ask for "concerned citizens".

It begins in our own backyard.

Thank you for that. Schedule and location of work always conflict with me attending for my voice to be heard at counsel meetings whether city or county. I suppose a letter could be sent or a phone call too

I posted details of that ordeal here on the ODT a few years ago but searching comes up empty.

Billy tried to develop the Henry Co. airport/airfield to allow houses around the border that homeowners could directly access the facility but the FAA shot it down and it's said he had money involved.

Then he convinces Henry county to buy Tara Airfield from Clayton about $7 million Henry taxpayers with subsidized (tax) state money (many more millions) as well as subsidized tax money from the Fed. So Henry county residents paid out three ways-county, state and federal tax burdens.
