I remember seeing a herd like that at Cades Cove in TN. Absolutely amazing to see that many deer at one time.

I bet someone is feeding them. They normally never travel in large numbers like that.

They are kinda territorial.... But they get VERY territorial during the rut. Gots to be looking for food.
