My name is Mary nice to meet everyone! I’m 25 and live in Sandy Springs GA. A good friend of mine has turned me onto the wonderful world of firearms recently. I’ve had a Ruger P89 9mm for years at my house for emergencies but honestly took little interest in it since there was no one around to show me. Since my new friend came along a few months ago though and has been taking me to the range I’ve become officially obsessed. Right now I’m happy with my Ruger for home defense, but I’m looking for a small semi auto pistol for concealed carry and then would like to move on to my first rifle. Take it easy on me boys I’m still a n00b but am here to learn!

Pretty guns (we call them BBQ guns:)) like a purple Kimber are all well and good, but you need to shoot several (try different ones at a range) to see what you shoot best. Some 9mm's shoot as soft as a 380 with considerably more ammo and gun choices with better stopping power. Think about it before laying down almost the same $'s and considerably more for practice and self defense ammo.:thumb:
