Hi Caliber robbed again!

If anyone wants to see some low key smash and go protection, check out Thornton's Pawn Store in Athens.

Joe Thornton had these put in years ago, when the smash jobs were just getting popular.

They are about 3 X 8 foot, waist high brick "flower beds" filled with concrete and rodded into the concrete sidewalk. There is less than a car's width between them, and they are set about 4 feet off the building. All of the guns are on the back side of the show room.

Supposedly these barriers will stop anything up to and including a dump truck. They have the advantage that they are very subtle, and most people frequenting the pawn shop probably don't even realize what they are.

ballards are set up for vehicles that most people don’t notice but now the question for inside of the building is to go with dogs or snakes??
