Hi-Point at Cabelas for $109

I remember when I was so broke a high point is all I could afford. Glad I had the option.
The thing about them is I had shot one before I bought it and it did just what it was supposed to do. It was ugly and heavy but it went bang whenever I pulled the trigger. Then once I owned one I lost complete interest.

You can't give these things away!

I got one in a Trade and just gave it away, it was a .40cal. I was scared the gun would blow up in my face, but my wife has the 9mm Carbine rifle and that rifle shoots great for the price, I paid for it $110.00.

They work, and go above and beyond in economical terms. Price point checks out, especially when you factor in warranty. I dont see what the hate is about ive owned 3 new, 2 used all functioned great. My brother has a 45 carbine we use as a farm truck gun that has had the piss shot out of it and held up great. Ive never had to use their customerservice but have been told its exceptional. They make great boot in a trade to balance some edgy trades as well. Its not like were talking about a taurus here... show some cast iron lovin!

they are heavy but they are great for a gun that needs to work when you pull the trigger.

Is this the Hi-Point Anonymous meeting?
I have 2, a 9MM and a .40, they were my first guns and I can't bear to sell or trade them. Also feel self conscious when I bring them to the range. I've always thought they were really good economical guns, just ugly as fuelman1 fuelman1 's girl-friends (I'm guessing a two-bagger? One for her and one for you incase her's falls off?).

A friend just bought the 9mm pistol for his car gun. We've shot it a couple of times and not only does it work, it's surprisingly accurate.

And the carbines are just awesome, best bang for the buck out there in a pistol caliber.
