I tested this pouch out today after ordering them a week a go. The pouch has bungee cords holding a plastic insert between two fabric panels. The pouch worked great. Insertion of AR-15 style magazines was no issue. magazines were retained during physical activity (running) These pouches also accept AUG and other mags. I would recommend to anyone

Has anyone used a belt conversion for these? I like tacos but don't use molle often anymore so I'd like to convert mine to belt mounted.

I LOVE the tacos. Its all i will run really. Maybe some blueforce gear 10speed, but i prefer tacos.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that attachment. I know RCS has one that looks nice but at that price I'd rather sell the regulars then buy new belt mounted. The reason I like tacos is that they collapse fairly small but you can run multiple platforms so I save time not swapping pouches if I swap from a 5.56 to a 7.62 for example. For me, real world use would be unlikely to include a chest rig or battle belt so when I get to shoot I try to work off a pistol belt since that's what I wear.
