I've got nothing but good things to say my friends not only about the Bulgarian Ak47 but also how the cerakote held up. In 1,000 rounds of fire (no lube and no cleaning mind you) it never jammed, no ftf, not a single hiccup. Now when you look at the pictures keep in mind the barrel used to the the same color as the receiver. At around the 600 round mark the cerakote went from just a slight darker tone to the color it is now. It also started to smell like burning hair for some reason idk. It took a couple hours to clean this thing but it was an interesting ride. I know I'm not reinventing the wheel here but I wanted to share my experience with cerakote and Arsenal Ak47s. Also I didn't notice the gun ran a little hotter after the cerakote but I expected it would hold some heat.

I will say carbon and unburned powder rolled off of the coating but that piston head was a bear to clean along with the gas tube. The most interesting thing was the barrel came clean in 3 patches
