Hog gets shot many, many times and hog doesn't like it...

Reminds me of when I shot a 130 lbs sow with a 22lr. Thankfully I was using a large tree to steady my aim & was able to take 10 shots at it before it turned to run off 60 yards to die. I could hear it choking on it's own blood. She was protecting her litter of piglets i'm sure, but to this day I feel I would have been better off shooting the piglets rather than drag her fat tick infested ass to my truck. Easier to roast the piglets in my rotisserie, although that sow did make some fine BBQ.

For that quick moment I swear I regressed into a monkey mindset and could only think about climbing a tree, but the only close trees near me were the 35" wide tree in front of me and a few saplings by my sides. Picked up a Henry 17hmr lever action and scoped it to make sure I'd drop'em on the first shot next time.
