Hog

So I just bought a trail cam and set it up in my woods out near my pasture. I had seen some signs of hogs or some animal rooting and wanted to capture it. Turns out I have a hog(only one caught on the camera so far) and I need some direction on hunting him down. I have never been hog hunting and would love the meat and to also get him off my land.

Any tips or suggestions are welcomed

Just be ready for more than one. I have never heard of an area having "a" hog. They travel in packs (what is a bunch of hogs called? dinner!)

When hunting hogs, one gun can get you kilt. Bring two.

I want the meat so I think I will try to eradicate them myself. If someone is proficient at processing and wants to split the harvest we can maybe discuss that. I ran up on one tonight putting out corn in front of my cam. It was about mid thigh high from what I could make out. It was running and dark so couldn't tell for sure. When it finds the corn I will get some good pics I put the cam and the corn in its wallering hole :-p
