Well my holosun 515Bu got here quick! Super solid mount and housing very clear glass and crisp reticle! Didn't opt for the solar version as it was a neat feature but not worth the additional costs for my intended usage. Out of the box the fit, finish and function are excellent. Mounted it on the ak47 and went straight to the range. Sighted it in and ran a few hundred rounds down range! Held zero fine and just makes shooting the AK more precise and fun over trying to use the irons with these old eyes of mine!

Really happy with the optic for my intended use and the quality in its price range. Just hope it gives me years of good service and doesn't leave me with that buy once cry once shoulda bought a trijicon or aimpoint thing.

The only con on this one are the freaking tiny ass cheesy screws for the battery door! Phillips head and so tiny... They do give you a 2nd battery door and two more screws but even so I won't risk changing the battery at the range if I don't have to! (Sig Romeo4b uses torx head screws which are much better.)

Initial sight in benched with a sandbag range was crowded so I really didn't take the time to grab some good brass ammo for fine tuning it and verification.
25 yard tulammo steel cased fmj.
Last target was a fast mag dump.

The c39v2 seems to be so contraversial on the web that's for sure but I've got around 400 down range and no visible wear anywhere yet. Lots of good reviews on it but also a few people have had issues... Time will tell and I hope I'm in the ranks of buyers that got a good one. It's fit finish, function are awesome but it's a heavy beast for sure and my friends wasr10 shoots just as nice and is noticeably lighter! (The c39v2 just feels more refined) I'm still thrilled with it so far, just hope it stays that way!
