Holster for backpacking?

Looking at the Alien Gear holster that attached to the shoulder strap of a backpack, but it seems as it stands off fairly high. My pack has pockets on the waist belt that are just big enough for a Glock 43, but I would like to carry my 19. What are you using that is comfortable?

I bought one of the Alien Gear chest holsters. Camped two nights with it wore it the whole time super comfortable. Plus you can buy different shells so you can switch it out if you want.

Gunfighters Inc seems top notch and after emailing a pic of my GA DL showing "VET" was offered a 20% military/law enforcement discount. I ultimately went with GS but wanted to mention they're good folks at GFI. If I need/want another I'd gladly give them my money too!
