I am looking into your family room high ceilings, the HVAC guy installed just a 10x6 vent. Which is basically about 100 CFM, and by using flexes the friction will cut it down to about 80 CFM..... Even if they installed TWO, won’t be enough.
Just saying!!!

All about heat load calculations and sq footage, it won't be enough but easy enough to add a mini split. If he has room in the attic and close to that area, I'd run a ducted mini split with a supply vent on each side.

I know, BUT that load calculation could have brought up a beter size system, with no need of another huge expenses on mini splits.

I can’t read the drawing when I zoom in but the photo made it look huge. My last house I built had a 30’x40’ garage.
