Home Defense Shotgun storage ideas with small Children in the house???

I have looked into those lock up things that mount to the wall but my shotgun will not fit with a side saddle. I know the easy fix is to loose the side saddle but it holds my rear sight and /or optic.
I am looking for quick access near my bed but want it to be safe from the little ones. Any Ideas?

I just cannot find one that will hold my shot gun setup. I have one for a handgun.

I mean you gotta stay high speed. Never give up them side saddles.

Honestly I wouldn't know unless you get one of those really small safes. Probably only $250?

I have been reading a lot of opinions on home defense options as far as shot guns vs AR vs Hand guns etc. Its just hard for me to give up the shotgun idea. I have a pistol beside me anyway but I feel like I need more.
