honda, no fuel filter?!

Best bet leave the fuel system alone. You'd be amazed at tye number of OEM's who only use the in tank filter.

I do not know if I can trust it.

i'd be more worried about a porous engine block with that car

If you're curious pop the pump/sender out and see what it looks like...wait till you're under a 1/4 tank of fuel and btw the edges of the tank can make razor blades seem like kids toys.....

I re-read the post and I think the OP is looking to add an inline filter.
Aside from any warranty or liability problems; I don't see a problem.
Install one reccomended by a specialty retailer according to the installation instructions.

So i learned that honda doesn't believe in fuel filters.

I'm not sure when they stopped doiing it but 2006 + Civic's got no filters.

Only thing it got is fuel strainer, inside the fuel tank.
Honda says it's lifetime.

I want to add a fuel filter. Inline filter, i guess would be the best choice?
Any tips?

Filter is in the tank. Doubt many put them inline anymore.

Would it perhaps protect the injectors?
If the factory filter is not as good as it should be (to protect the engine past the warranty) then it may never clog.

Yes, I'll like to add inline filter. I dont trust what they have in the tank to keep my fuel clean.
