Have any of you ODT tasty peepsicles and children’s been paying attention to the price escalation for 1st and 2nd production batch ONLY stamped lower receiver Ghetto Blaster? It’s F’ing crazy and I guess you were right! Not too many 5.56 guns produced since demand at the time was all in favor of the ballistically advantages .300blk cartridge. 5.56 doesn’t stabilize well in a 7.94 inch barrel no matter what the twist rate of the barrel is. It needs room for the burnt powder to expand and loses 400 FPS for every 1 inch from the time it brakes the muzzle. Then you factor in bullet drop compensation and it really is only good for very, very short distances. 10.2 inches is really the lowest anyone would push before a negative impact on accuracy at distances.
I guess what I’m trying to say in a nutshell the only rare thing about this combo (barrel length/caliber) is the number produced. Somehow a demand was created for originals in a funky unpopular caliber/length combo on these guns so much that the last 3 sold and very very few available have just finally broken $6k and $7k respectively as evidenced here below.

So to all who have been following this new thread for HB & GB owners. I mentioned previously about a solution I’ve been working on for owners of the GB to be able to swap in and out more easily the HB 2.0 .300blk and GB 5.56 barrel interchangeably with a custom engineered mounting solution making it easier to swap multi-caliber barrels in and out of your GB. Additionally, some exciting news. I will be testing the first ever GB in 5.56 that has been barrel swapped with a 7.94” barrel and adjustable gas block from Q’s HB 2.0 in .300blk, with the ability to convert our GB to a more integrally suppressed SD setup like the HB 2.0SD. Noveske never released their SD setup and I don’t believe according to the last time I spoke to some of the old guard from the Johnny Noveske days are ever going to produce a GBSD. So I decided to undertake the task of performing the work myself. Testing is about to begin if future plans or trades don’t get in my way. If anyone is interested in converting over to either the SD setup or rather just have a mounting solution for multi-caliber interchange barrel setups. Please comment below! I’d like to give a huge shout out to my fellow ODT brothers @ggkthx and @godofdeinewelt for the whole entire process of sticking by my side, providing valuable information and making this dream of mine happen. Without these two members I’d never know what it would be like to own a Honey Badger 2.0 Pistol. Owning a original rare Low Serial number Novekse Ghetto blaster was one of the best things I’ve ever owned as far as PDW’s go. Now thanks to @ggkthx he made my dream a reality.
