Well, I have the wife signed for a class at Norcross Range with a female instructor. The Instructor mentioned women usually like the P238. Of course I'd love her to stick with 9mm but whatever she's comfortable with. What else do women prefer? It must have a safety and an easy slide due to weak hand strength.

Keltec p32 simple, and easy to pull slide back, also pk380 they're specifically designed for easy slide operation, also have safety and exposed hammer. My wife and I have tried alot these two being best. Also note my wife is quite petite with small hands.

My wife has weak hands but has no trouble racking a G26, G43, or a Shield 9. Take her somewhere that lets you rent a variety and choose. She will not carry it if she does not like it.

Is she gonna carry? Does it need to be micro? Glock 19 or similar size guns are more user friendly (especially newbies). Micro pistols are more snappy and generally harder to manipulate for people new to shooting or weak wristed, etc. Often, girls want the "cute lil pistol"...until they shoot it.
