This is yuge! This will ad up to many millions of rounds of ammo. With over 60000 plus officers in the state of N.Y. do the math, training at least a 1000 rounds per year , plus duty ammo. Wow, a huge amount to hornady's budget.

I've always liked honady ammo, it's always been a little more expensive , but high quality. But I never had a failure to fire or anything.

My bet would be yes or why would Hornady make the statement? That would be to easy to have thrown back in their face if no NY agency was even using their ammo. But that is just a guess.
TO bad S&W, Glock and Beretta won't take this same stand.

Firearm and ammo manufacturers should get together and either refuse to sell their products to anti-gun state agencies like NY, NJ, MA, CT, CA or charge them 10% over ODT prices.
