I've heard that mil-spec handguards, the corncob style that actually do have heat shields on the inside, are great for keeping your hands on the rifle while the barrel is hot.

Get you some Colt double heat shield handguards. Without heat shields, you are very limited into how many RPMs you can shoot before it gets hot.

Might toss on an AFG and use it for grip, help keep the heat at bay. They are legal on a pistol.

Is this "legal" or is it legal? There's so much grey area and I really try to avoid those types of products. But that solves my problem.
