if You don’t want the ad up anymore, just mark it gone

Use the edit button to clear the listings, but just type gone in its place

Click the "Mark As Gone" button in the top right of your listing.

You aren't able to delete ads because the site doesn't allow for it. It's likely as simple as checking a box for a setting, but "the internet" is generally obsessed with hoarding information.

You can delete the information from your old ads. I don't really know if it does any good my understanding is once it's on the internet it's there forever.
