How did anyone manage to hunt before camo guns? Small rant.

I'll camo tape a long gun if I feel it will give me even a small advantage. Turkey hunting would be a time in wish I camo tape my shotgun. Deer hunting, no camo. Although my new VTR is OD Green and Black.

I think perhaps some of it comes from military influence. Black guns give off a more significant IR signature, so many of them get painted. Then it bleeds over into the commercial industry. But alot of it is just marketing too, Remington trying to sell guns in the latest greatest RealTree AP Max-1 with trademark super ninja invisibility pattern. Me, I like black guns. When the SHTF I'll worry about IR signature.

MAN, didnt you know that your cool factor multiplied by 10 if your gun is painted? PLUS its more snipery if you have a camod gun.

i'd like to see you hunt turkey without some camo on lol. non camo gun you can sometimes get away with.

my dad and uncle killed turkey just fine when i was a kid. usually wearing work clothes from the body shop they worked in. and usually a stevens single shot shotgun.
