How do you convince family members to start PREPPING?

I dont and doubt I ever will. Its up to you to make your own bed. When its all said and done... you have to sleep there.

My fiance doesnt even bother me anymore about it. She knows its better to be safe than sorry.... but then again... she met my crazy ass family early in the game and knew what she was getting into. On our second date we were at my brothers and he was planning a trip to atlanta for the weekend.. In his trunk he packed the AK, MREs, a compas, a map, etc.... she asked me," Is he going camping for the weekend." I replied, "No. Just going to a confrence."

Hell, brother...that's how I prep to run in and pick my son up from GA Tech.

My wife recently asked how much food/water I had stored- mostly because the two liter bottles were getting in the way. I replied "about X days for one person." To which she replied "what do you mean for one person?!"

I was just using "one person" for simple math, but I got the go ahead to double what I have on hand

lol... I drive to douglasville every friday and sunday. Thats enough for me. I lived in marietta for 5 years.... Turned out I hate people.... didnt even know that till i was up there.

I don't think you can convince anyone. Waking people up to reality is not an easy thing to do, they have to come to the conclusion that things might not always be as they are right now on their own terms. You can sound the alarm all you want but very few people in my experience give a ****.
