How do you like to cook your Turkey ?

Deep Fried is probably the best in my opinion but we have been for the last couple of years "Steaming" the bird. Trisha Yearwood style . Has anyone else cooked one this way ? I have a Big Green Egg and Fryer but this way is so freakin easy and always falls off the bone

Fried with about a quart of texas pete injected the night before.

I'm working on it now. I rub garlic, poultry seasoning and butter under the skin then cover it with a bacon lattice blanket. Roast for about 3.5-4 hours. The bacon dripping seep into the breast. Soooo tasty, but then if you wrapped a cat turd in bacon it would probably taste good! Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy your turkey how ever you like it.
