How do you store your collection?

As my collection slowly begins to grow, I was wondering...how best to store these knives. I thought about getting some case with cut-out foam and doing it that way...any suggestions?

The ones I display are in cases like this, the rest are in their original boxes in a locked cabinet.

I just set them on a shelf in my closet. I like to look at the and normally fondle them every chance i get so dont like putting them in boxes or packed away

Oh I don't want to pack them away...I stand in my closet regularly and look at and handle my knives...my wife is slightly worried, but whatever...lol

I was thinking almost like a gun case, where I could open it and see like 10 knives in full display (while protected)...or something along those lines.

I also saw some nylon looking contraption with little plastic holders for knives you could hang on a door or something...didn't dig that one very much.

12 benchmade boxes fit perfectly inside a 50 cal ammo can. That’s how I store mine.

Mostly keep in original packaging after cleaned with Renaissance Wax.
Might ad a silica pack to reduce moisture.
Do have some Schrade USA in original Schrade display.

I keep a Kobalt rolling tool chest in a spare bedroom closet. About half the draws are for knives. Another drawer has all spare mags for my guns, one is full of flashlights, etc.....

You might want to look at a blue print file cabinet. Brought one home, came in 5 drawer
sections, carried two sections home, stacked on top of each other. It sits in man cave, three of the drawers hold my fixed
blade knives, most in zippered cases. Other drawers hold gun related stuff. The one I have
is wood, some are metal.

I bought a harbor freight US General took chest for my gun room. Top drawer is edc stuff, drawer for knives and lights, drawer for suppressors and watches, etc.

I made a couple of racks that sit on the shelves in the top of my safe. I used .75” holes spaced 1” on center. If I did it again I’d use 1” holes spaced 1.5” on center.
