I'm thinking about setting up an artificial scrape to keep him coming to the area, but have never used them seriously before and have doubts about their real effect.

made a bunch of em and yes they do work.
Why will it all disappear 10 days before season starts?
I have made a scrape line twice on the property I hunt. Had bucks pissed about it and moving good. You have to time it right and keep them fresh and put them in the right spot. They work but it takes a lot of effort on your part too.
all food has to be removed from property 10 days before season in the Northern zone except the 200 yard thing.Long shot with a bow
Not food plots and mineral sites.
he said food stuff provided and you can not hunt over a salt lick.Knowing how some of these small tracts of land are situated in N Fulton prolly no way to plant a food plot.
To get him to eat pellets you will have to mix with corn it will take a while it took us 3 years to get them to 100% pellets now they eat 4 tons a month in five troughs here is a example of a couple
