How far do you Load up your AR Mags?

Read an article this week where the author was saying to only load about 28 rounds in a magazine.
This is supposed to make it more reliable...

What does everyone here typically do about this?
I am thinking a P-Mag should be reliable either way.

Full 30 rounds or no?

All the way. Mine lock in just fine.

It's got nothing to do with the mag reliability. It's the ability to easily seat them on a tac. reload.

My Iraq AR wouldn't strip that 30th round out of the mag.
Obviously I don't load mine to 30.
Might want to pull out your gun and play with it.

28 to 29 rounds. Know your weapon and mags. 8 years in the corps and 4 tours.
