Hey Yall. Whats a type 99 jap arisaka with bayonet worth these days in the real world? Boss of mine has one he has had for years but he doesn't really know what the heck it is. Was given to him down from family generations etc. Ive done a lil research on it and it does not have the what is the "mum flower"? stamped on it. Rifle is a lil rough. No pitting,no rust,barrel looks ok just faded bluing and really dark stock with a bunch of dings and carvings of initials etc. Action feels fine. He is asking $200 for it. Also a shop nearby has a carcano thats been bubba'd. Stock was done right for a bubba job. It has aftermarket front and rear sights. He is asking 150 cash for it. I dont know much about it either. Found the ammo fairly cheap at $14 a box online. So...maybe..
