That said... I need to track down an Enfield and an Arisaka - you know... just to really see if the M1 is the superior rifle of WW2... for sciences sake! :-P
My baby,shes number 737 in the series,aircraft sight,monopod,repro cleaning rod and sling.The bolt is also matching.I can't get myself to take her hunting.I have so much time in making this gun the most beautiful example I can.Stock was redone by me,still has the japanese character on the bottom.The metal was all cleaned and polished and professionally reblued dark military blue.because the Chrysanthemum was ground pretty well.My favorite gunshop back home did the work on the professional bluing.I hope you enjoy the photos

Just put a couple of optics up to trade for more milsurp rifles - if anyone is in to that kind of thing.
Got this very specialized tool in the mail. Anyone know what M1 tool this is for?
I don't know what it is, but it makes me want to cross my legs and keep the implied contents far away from whatever that is.
