My problem and motto in my life is " I like em all" ...I think either will be fine. The M14 I owned previously was a cast receiver (I believe), and ran fine.

Holding off for a JRA m14 from classic. They are priced abou tthe same as springfield but have forged recievers. Thoughts?

SAI is as you likely know investment cast receiver. I have had maybe (25) Springfield rifles no issues. Lifetime warranty.
