alleycat just sitting here waiting to see pics of the pre 1900 mosin..........

Just picked her up, looks like she’s been in cosmoline for so long that it’s dried and hardened. She’s going to be a great shooter

1894 imperial Tula M91, looks like all Tula-marked parts. Bolt matches the receiver, came with bayonet too. Captured by the Finnish home guard at some point in time, chamber was adjusted to shoot the Finn 7.62x54r “D” round and stock was replaced. Bore does not look to have been fired since rifle was last arsenaled. . . Strong lands and grooves with no pitting.
