How many know the #1 rule for any fight?

No matter your decision, fight, run, hide, shoot, avoidance, or any of a plethora of other choices...
Never
NEVER
NEVER underestimate your opponent.
Impossible to actually know what another is capable of, what training he may or may not have, his mind set, willingness to win at ALL COSTS, weapons he may possess , or anything really.

Good way to wake up dead.

And yet, self defense laws and instructions to juries are, for the most part, based upon the idea that you SHOULD be able to accurately estimate your opponent at the risk of your own safety. Ironic, isn't it?

But yes, I totally agree with your statement. Thanks for giving him a rebate on his life.

Daddy always told me, if you know that there is absolutely no way out of a fight, then go ahead knock the hell out of them first. It may be the only lick you get in if you get your ass beat.

p.s. My older brother taught me how to tote an ass whippin at least twice a week for about 14 years. I can do that very well. The last time he tried, I knock him out then ran. He never bothered me after that.
