How can it not be cheaper to run 120 of them at a time on the track than one at a time on the highway ?

And The roadrailers didn’t need flatcars and cranes and an empty chassis on each end of the trip

Seemed very efficient when I was working there

Somehow it was a lot slower, occasionally a trailer would miss the cutoff for the train and it would get hauled on the highway , one driver would head out from each terminal and meet in the middle and swap trailers and come back and arrive before the train did

So my wife had this great idea to set me up with a free ride in a 2019 Pete 379 (I think?) for my birthday. This was at the local dealership west of Jackson. It was a blast!! Felt like I was 10 again. My wife and son got to ride along in the sleeper too. The manager was just as excited as we were. A real nice guy and on top of giving us a free ride, he threw in free hats and a hoody!! He said that was the first time he ever had a request for a birthday ride. Told my wife that was the best gift eeeevvvvvvvver!
