How much ammo?

At one point, I had like 45,000 rounds of 9mm. Sold/shot a lot of it.
I keep a lot. A LOT . Why? Cause im not leaving. I have a water source , several actually. I am at the top of a hill that can be easily covered 360. We don't need any assistance please keep moving.
W/E you feel comfortable with. The safe has the SD/Zombie ammo!

Practically speaking, too much ammo is when you bottom out the suspension of a Ford Excursion. If you can't pick it up and move it, no thanks.
Some of this is also caliber dependent. I think having 1000 rounds of something like 8x56R is a little ridiculous. That's something in the order of 50+ range trips for me and it's something that I shoot maybe once a year, if that. On the other hand, it's pretty easy to blow through a 555 brick in an afternoon of casual plinking.
