O.K. I understand that not every one knows everything about everything that they are trying to sell on ODT.

But what is with people who don't know shinola about an item they are trying to sell. With the interwebs, you can get a could profile of anything in less than 5 minutes.

For example, has the gun been refinished? There are very guns with reblues so good that even a casual observer can't tell the difference. One recent revolver that was obviously refinished, the seller insisted was a "war finish."

What "dash" is a S&W? You really don't know how to determine that?

Year model of outboard motor/boat. News flash, not all motors are the same age as the boat they are on. Most OBs, the year can be easily determined. Same with the hull.

What f'ing choke does your shotgun have, and I really don't care if a dime can go through through the muzzle.

And so on.

Stop assuming people have common sense, just look at how people drive. Give up on believing the majority of people today have any type of intelligence at all. Life will be much easier if you assume most everyone is a total dumb ass.
