You used to be able to cash a check at the bank it was drawn from for free.

Also, you used to be able to have an open container before .08.

Keep going. I just got busy

Halloween was a kids holiday and it was safe and a hoot!

Used to change low beams to high beams on the floor board, change gears on the steering column, not have power steering, actually ask women out (not via text or some dating website).......I can keep going......used to cook every meal, play outside with just dirt or dried cow patties with 1 friend, have dirt roads, could drink and drive and get an officer to escort you home........ I'm just gonna stop right there!

I miss the dimmer switch on the floor. I am still excited about getting the rusty mustang on the road.

You used to have to completely stop to put it in first gear.

We country folks used to have to wait until our neighbors down the road got off the party line phone before we could call anybody. We even had our own special phone ring.

reminds me of a story.

(I’m waiting in line behind a woman speaking on her cellphone in another language. Ahead of her is a white man. After the woman hangs up, he speaks up.)

Man: “I didn’t want to say anything while you were on the phone, but you’re in America now. You need to speak English.”
