How things used to be

While sitting on the tailgate and jumping off in the parking lot. (Ok - I grew up in the country....not everyone has done that)

How about riding in the back of a flat bed pickup while the driver's hauling butt through the woods... holding on for your life, while trying to avoid the blood from the hog also on the flatbed? Ahh country life. lol

I know, it literally takes nothing out of you and can easily cheer up someone else's day. I don't get it. And for real, if I stop long enough to hold the door open for you, at least have the courtesy to thank me. I tend to yell "you're welcome" when they don't. And fyi, I'm a chick but yes I still hold doors for people. It's not a chivalry thing, it's a courtesy thing.

A woman beat me to the door and held it for me today. She was also carrying her baby.
