A guy I know was telling me about a place that he did some work at that was amazing. 3 stories underground in town. Well I google mapped it to see what I could see. Well it was blurred. . . . the guy who owns it is a technology multimillionaire, so if he can get his house blurred so can I, and you can to.

Not bad. I was looking at my grandfather's house one day and saw him in street view struggling to cut the grass. His house was on the corner, so one view was him pushing the mower. The view around the corner was him sitting in the grass rubbing his brow looking rather exhausted. I'll look into getting that removed...

Looked up my address and got this...

Tried scrolling thru my neighborhood and it jumps to the interstate soon as I try to go into my cull de sac.

Intetesting. Don't think im important enough for people to Google my house.

If its in a subdivision or busy street, anyone searching anyone else's house will now see yours if the Google car takes a picture. The Google view hasn't been updated since I moved in, but I don't necessarily want anyone thinking that I got money because the previous owners had a Range Rover and a Mercedes in the driveway.

Call me paranoid, but there are mofos out there that research houses to hit using Google...

It may make it a little easier but, people cased and robbed houses before google. Blurring it will only make them want it more. Invest in a safe and a few cameras or an inside dog. Then ask God to let them pass over your house. Not much stops a thief. I do think a nice deep WOOF WOOF at the door will turn most of them around. If its the people with whisper helicopters then blurring wont do much.
