how to check on a stamp

I am waiting on three stamps and I am still pretty new to the world of NFA stuff how do people check on the status of their stamps?

what info do I need to have on hand when I call them?

Your name and the serial number of the item for a form 1.

You'll also need the FFL info if it's a form 4.

Yeah, ATF only looks up your file by serial number.
Not your name, the trust name, or anything else.

If you arent sitting at a year yet I wouldnt even bother calling.

Best thing to do is not think about the stamps. Get another hobby or research host and stockpile subsonic ammo.

Or buy another gun. That's what I always do!

The best way I've found is to completely forget about it so when the call does come in it's like Christmas when you were 4 years old and that cute puppy jumped out of the box right after you got your first BB gun and you got to eat cookies for breakfast!
