Do not mount the batteries in the rafters. The heat will kill them quickly. If you can make a waterproof area under the floor that would be much better. Batteries love mid 70 degree temps.

I’m gonna use lithium ion batteries so no gas discharge.
I’m still researching ideas and open to any suggestion but i can’t do under floor as it’s too shallow.
