I have a standard HVAC system with furnace. One system, basement and main floor. Second story has it's own system.

Problem is the basement is waaaay too cold in summer and waaay too warm in winter, main floor is opposite.

Need some one to install dampers or cut off some of the basement vents.

Located just below Roswell.

Our system has dampers and basement on separate zone. But even when only main level is running there is one return in basement circulating air. Keeps moisture out of basement in summer.

It lowered our bill and our unit runs less. We have 3 zones on one unit. We had auto dampers put in. You can have it done to where you do it manually and you do it yourself at the change of the season which works but not as efficiently. Its pricey to do it with the auto ones though. It was around 3 or 4 grand with the auto. But l had to basically run about 70 new ducts and put in a new plenum in my house to split them due to the way they were tied in together. Hopefully you won't have to do that in yours.

Zone and damper it, depending on duct layout, could get away with one auto damper. Ideally in a perfect world, always better to have a unit per floor if the basement is big enough
