Doesn't insurance cover that? I would never buy a higher priced item without it. I just bought a new in box ( still had the plastic over the box ) from a member last month. Paid shipping with insurance and no problems. The scope I purchased retails for almost 700 on Amazon. He used my PO. Box so there would be no confusion. My USPS mail an shipment all go to my PO Box and I know all three employees. They would vouch for me if it didn't arrive.

Another good way to go is I will have it shipped to the Fed Ex office in Lynchburg. That way they can't argue the fact if I received it or not. Without my signature they have no feet to stand on if they try to argue the fact. I have had real expensive fishing reals, scopes and other higher priced items that way.

Hard to believe some people will drive 25+ miles one way for a deal rather than go to the Post Office , 30 minutes tops , and ship it . Now that 30 minutes time is because of my sorry a$$ Powder Springs post office !!!

The whole Zelle thing bothers me but it hasn't sidewaysed up, yet.

I have had to step away from using Zelle because I got sidewaysed. I can't fully lay the blame at the buyer/seller's feet either.

If you can, set up another bank account you can use for Zelle transactions. That way your main account doesn't get locked down and it puts you in a bind.

Long story short, don't use Chime... for anything.
