I was doing some random reading "surfing" today and I ended up on Goggely Maps researching Masonic history of the Grand Lodge of England. I landed on a map of
Edinburg, Scotland. A few minutes later I happened to look up and glance out the window and I saw a squirrel, a blue squirrel I think? yeah I'm pretty sure it was Blue. Oh sorry, squirrels distract me. Well, the next thing I know I googling again, but now I'm googling clay target ranges near Edinburg. I don't know why, but every time I see a squirrel I end up doing something else, and totally forget what I was just doing. Wait, where were we. Oh yeah target shooting.

So believe you me when I say just how surprised I was when I saw just how many clay courses they have in the close proximity to Edinburg. Abut that time I happened to look out the window and it happened AGAIN! This time I saw two squirrels! One was that Blue bugger but now it was chasing a Red one. Oops, Sorry, I did it again.
Don't fret just stay with me here.

I looked back down at the laptop and started googling Scottish gun laws, There it happened again, I'm really sorry. I know I, I was looking at clay courses? Oh well we need to keep to moving here. I was curious to see how much the laws differed from that of our socialist cousins. You know the ones that sit in the House of Lords which I believe is full corrupt freedom hating politicians. Matter of fact I think they got a new fancy name, I think they call it Parliament. I suspect to hide what they really are and to make it seem more palatable. Now I just gotta tell ya, what I found surprised me to no end, but what made me mad at myself was my ignorance for not knowing the details here in, and above all; reading the information and making the connections on dates for their gun legislation and the historic legislation passed here in the good old U. S. of A.

Now, I'm not talking about the 1989 or 1994 assault weapons bans. Oh heck no!!! I'm talking about going all the way back to 1934. Just take a peak at the Wikipedia link below, and you'll quickly realize that there is a big collaboration a foot. You cannot deny the dates, they are way too similar too be coincidental. It looks like some aluminum hat wearers may be right when they say our government is still in service to the crown. Dang, I always though the saying was heaviest is the head that wears the crown? apparently not because it looks like they're still calling the shots.

I gotta say, the most intriguing part to me is how Wikipedia actually left in print the original motives. You see for your self. Enjoy the read. Wait! Squirrel!!! Wow!! This one one is Red, White and Blue. If has to be a Yank? I think I'll name him Dandy.

Take care, and enjoy the info.
