Just getting into knifes and right now I have a couple inexpensive ones for EDC.
One Gardener, one Cold Steel, and just bought a Opinel No-8 carbone.

I am looking for something to keep them sharp.
Right now I have a couple flat stones but it is hard to keep the correct angle.
While I am getting better with my skills, I thought maybe this would help me take it to the next level.

Asking the gurus here seems like a good place to educate myself...

Something like you linked works pretty good for keeping a sharp knife sharp. Once they get really dull or chipped you will want more than that.

I’ve heard pretty good things about the lansky kits with the rod and angle guide for a cheaper system. With that system you can have coarser and finer stones to tailor your edge to what you need.

I have a KME system which is a more expensive version of the lansky kit.

Lansky here. I'm not huge into knives, I have a lot of them but none are more than $50. The lansky rod and stone system works well for me.
