Its my Father in Laws fist BP rifle. I want him to hunt with me this year during BP season. We hunt Rifle but never Bow or BP. NOW WE DO.

I got a crossbow last year for the exact same reasons you mentioned (plus I've always thought they were cool). I picked up a used TenPoint here on the ODT and have loved it. Their customer service has been excellent in answering some of the questions I had about it since it didn't come with a manual. Its wicked accurate and I would recommend them to anyone.
