Having never had kids (that I know of) I do tend to give a lot of attention and care to any pets we have had. With the passing of any of them, it is always tough. I have no doubt Oreo cared as much for ya'll as you did for her.

100% understand your pain. Absolutely one of the most difficult situations in life if you're a dog lover. Dogs are incredible animals that we connect with on so many levels and provide us the ability to experience true unconditional love. Sounds like Oreo had a great life with you and your family.

She wasn't much to look at; we think she was some sort of a Australian shepherd and something else mix. She looked a little like Yoda, but had the heart of Mother Theresa.
So sorry for your loss. They truly are family members and can forever hold a place in our hearts.
